Are you stuck in a painful pattern and battle with toxic thoughts, behaviors and habits?
Have you tried a lot already (self-help books, therapists, podcasts, coaches), but haven’t made real headway?
Are you sick and tired of trying to change all by yourself and are yearning for support?
Do you need real tools and science-backed strategies to build healthier neural pathways for self-regulation and emotional resilience?
If you answered YES to one or all of the above questions, I have a solution on how to permanently change this. For real! Not just aha moments and insights, but deep, lasting, re-wiring your brain sort of change.
You are stuck because you don’t have a daily structure and method where you permanently manage and change your brain and messy mind.
A few months ago, I started a structure called the Neurocycle that has completely changed my life.
Stay with me here. I can imagine what you are thinking: “Oh, yeah, blah blah blah, another mind hack. Been there, done that.”
No, no, no! What I’m about to share is not yet another hype-filled, trendy self-help technique to change your life in three simple steps (insert barf emoji). What I’m sharing with you is a scientifically proven, clinically applied, sustainable mind-management program to rewire your brain through directed neuroplasticity, which will drastically change your life, and it’s called the Neurocycle.
It sounds hard and complicated, but it’s not. Keep reading!
After completing my first Neurocycle, my husband Steve marveled in wonder about my reactions to things that would have taken me down in a spiral of anxiety, panic or anger in the past. We had a situation with one of our sons where I normally would have panicked, gone into disaster thinking, and been pushed into massive anxiety and depression. Instead, I stayed calm, applied the steps I learned and came up with a peaceful solution and regulated nervous system.
I would have never been able to manage my toxic thoughts and been so resilient in the past if it hadn’t been for the Neurocycle.
A few months ago, I discovered the Neurocycle in a podcast, where Mel Robins interviewed Dr. Caroline Leaf, a world renowned cognitive neuroscientist, and a pioneer in the science of neuroplasticity (the study of how your brain changes based on how you use your mind). For nearly 40 years, Dr. Leaf has been at the forefront of cognitive neuroscience, researching how you can reprogram the way your brain works by using your thoughts.
I was fascinated by this interview, because of what I noticed over 13 years of supporting clients in my coaching practice, which sometimes left me pretty damn frustrated and baffled: Some of my clients had life changing, mind blowing transformations during our time, while some felt nurtured and supported, but didn’t make any real changes in their lives.
WHY, oh why???
Because even though we discovered the root of their problems, they didn’t consistently practice their new, reconceptualized ways of being and behaving differently in such a way that it rewires their brain and creates real, lasting results! This is a process that takes 63 days. (Actually, it takes around 21 days to build a long-term thought with its embedded memories, and 63 days to turn this into a habit.)
In Dr. Caroline Leaf’s own words:
“Mind management is a skill that needs to be learned and constantly upgraded as we grow from childhood into adulthood.
If you don’t shape your life, it will be shaped for you.
We have to learn how to catch and edit our thoughts and reactions before they trigger toxic chain reactions and become intrained neural networks, aka bad habits.
As we think, the brain literally changes in hundreds of thousands of ways, on cellular, molecular, chemical, genetic and structural levels – the key is that you can direct this process!
We cannot effectively improve our lifestyle or hope the changes will be sustainable until we learn how to manage our thinking.”
So here’s where I come in!
Starting in January, I will offer my first ever (very affordable = $89) Neurocycle online community experience, where we go through the 63 days of the Neurocycle together. This will give you the structure, support, inspiration community, accountability and the coaching you need to learn and apply the process and change your life.
Don’t worry – it won’t take over your whole life. You will download the Neurocycle App, and we will meet on zoom once a week for 9 weeks. You will spend 10 to 30 minutes max every single day doing work with the Neurocycle (I will explain it in detail once you sign up) for a total of 63 days. It’s all very structured and organized.
Of course you can do this on your own as well, and if you do, bless you and go ahead. But I found that it’s so much easier to stick with a practice when you have community to do it together and inspire and support each other. Don’t worry: you don’t have to be vulnerable and share your most intimate secrets. You can be as authentic and involved as you choose to be.
When you participate in the group, you will have access to me in our weekly group coaching session, where I help you, direct you, and go deeper if needed.
I will start a new cycle together with you, and my husband and best friend will be there with us as well to do this together. So let’s go. What better time to do this than the new year?
And if you would rather do one-on-one coaching with me and the Neurocycle, I’m available for that as well!
Here are some of the many testimonials from Dr. Caroline Leaf’s book:
I did multiple cycles of the 5 Step program and today I celebrate fifteen months completely off anxiety medication. I feel grateful, peaceful, empowered, and free.
I got really angry today after being confronted with a petty trigger of mine. At first I acted on the anger but then I sat down and analyzed why I got so angry using your 5 Steps. I calmed down and was able to reconceptualize and resolve the situation before it escalated. I didn’t take the anger with me!
These 5 Steps have helped me turn my life around from being in a mental hospital because of attempted suicide to actually facing the trauma that got me there and coming to like myself as a person. I have learned that I can be in control and don’t have to be a victim to my own thoughts.
I’m very excited for this! I am on day 19 of my first (Neuro) cycle and this has been the best investment I’ve ever made in myself. I am starting to break a lifelong habit of fear and anxiety. I can’t wait to see what changes will be coming.
My mind is changing! I had a pretty significant traumatic experience in February of this year and have been reaching for a new perspective as a result. Choosing grace and forgiveness has brought so much peace.
I have completed the 5 Steps. In the beginning it was overwhelming, but in the end it was amazing to have reconceptualized the toxic thoughts. Fear… will no longer hold me back. Thank you so much; this is a beginning to a new lifelong lifestyle change for good.
